TOUR INFORMATION & FAQ
Why do I need to wear a hair net?
Sprecher's soda production is certified under SQF (Safe Quality Food) standards, a rigorous food safety and quality program. Because soda is regulated as a food product, all brewery tour guests are required to wear a hairnet while touring production areas. To maintain food safety standards, outside food and beverages are not permitted, and eating or drinking is not allowed during the tour.
How long is the brewery tour?
Guided brewery tours last approximately 45 minutes. The tour includes:
Four beer or hard soda samples for guests 21+ with valid ID
Unlimited Sprecher soda samples for all guests
The tour route is fully accessible and does not include any stairs.
Can I book a brewery tour in person?
Yes, same-day walk-in bookings are accepted when space is available. However, tour spots are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so advance online reservations are recommended.
Online reservations may be changed or canceled up to 48 hours before the scheduled tour. Refunds are not available within 48 hours of the tour time.
Can I see the bottling or canning line in action?
Possibly. Production lines typically operate Monday through Thursday from 5:00 a.m. to midnight and do not run on weekends.
If you'd like the best chance to see the bottling line in operation, we recommend visiting on a Thursday. Keep in mind that the line can be loud, producing up to 365 bottles per minute.
What is the best day to visit if I prefer a quieter experience?
Saturdays are generally the busiest day of the week. For a more relaxed tour experience with fewer crowds and less noise, consider visiting on Friday or Sunday.
Can I reserve a table in the taproom?
No. All taproom seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you are visiting with a group of 12 or more, please book your tour online and then contact events@sprecherbrewery.com to discuss accommodations for your group.
Do non-drinkers receive a discounted tour price?
No. Tour pricing is the same for all adult guests regardless of whether they choose to consume alcoholic beverages. The ticket price reflects the tour experience itself, while beverage samples are included as a complimentary part of the visit.
What can I do with unused sample tickets?
Two unused sample tickets may be exchanged for one drink token valid on a future visit.
Each drink token may be redeemed for one complimentary draft beverage in the taproom and has no cash value.
Can minors consume alcohol with a parent or guardian's permission?
No. Sprecher does not serve alcohol to anyone under the age of 21 under any circumstances. Parental or guardian permission does not override this policy.
Guests found supplying alcohol to a minor will be asked to leave the premises without a refund.
Can I bring outside food or beverages?
No. Outside food and beverages are not permitted at Sprecher Brewery.
Food and drinks are also not allowed on the brewery tour itself. Snacks and refreshments are available for purchase on-site.
Are pets allowed?
Only trained service animals and service animals in training are permitted. Pets are not allowed inside the brewery or taproom.
